Audiences were in for a real treat with an eclectic mix of dance genres at this year’s Choreography on the Edge this past weekend at ASK in Kingston.  The show included ballet, modern, jazz and dance improvisation, among other styles.  Each piece had been choreographed specifically for this show and represented the choreographers’ going out of their comfort zone to try something new.

Dancers Gabrielle Gregory and Iyania Lovaglio in “Gulp (Another Try)” choreographed by Sharon Penz.
Dancer/choreographer Hillary Jackson in “In Love.”

Dancer/Cheorgrapher Rebecca Frank in “Still, Behind a Turned Back.”
