Civic-minded documentary screening and volunteer fair coming to Kingston

This free community event that pairs a civic-minded documentary with a chance to plug into local groups. Hosted at the historic Old Dutch Church, the afternoon kicks off with Join or Die, a thought-provoking film tracing America’s social decline through the work of Robert Putnam, author of Bowling Alone. Afterward, stick around for a dynamic “Community Joining Fair,” where you can mingle with local organizations ranging from running clubs to arts collectives in a speed-dating-style setup.
