Firefighters responded to a two-alarm basement fire at Mohonk Mountain House on Friday afternoon.
In a statement, Mohonk spokesperson Darlene Fiske said the fire started in an unoccupied area of the resort and was “quickly contained, due to the efforts of our local fire departments and the Mohonk Fire Brigade. We are so grateful for their responses.”
Fiske said Mohonk Mountain House is “open for business and welcoming guests.”
