The analysis found:
- Kingston ranked highest among the cities surveyed in New York State. It beat out Buffalo (#15), Binghamton (#26) and Utica (#29).
- Kingston hosts 32.8% more jobs for teachers on a per-capita basis compared with the U.S. average.
- The average annual salary for teachers in Kingston, NY is $74,604, which is 45% higher than the national average.
