State Police are seeking information to help identify the body of a young woman found Tuesday, Feb. 27 in a stream in the town of Wappinger.
The body of a deceased female, believed to be approximately 5’ 3” tall and between the ages of 16 and 25 years old, was found partially submerged. Her weight prior to her death was believed to be approximately 89 pounds. She was found wearing white jeans, a pink t-shirt, a black button-up sweater, and black and purple Merrell sneakers.
The body was found in a tributary to Wappinger Creek off Maloney Road in the town of Wappinger near the Lagrange town line.
