Kingston Police are investigating this two-car accident that occurred at about 10:50 a.m. at the intersection of Washington Ave and Schwenk Drive.
According to police, the accident happened a result of a medical emergency suffered by a 42-year-old Kingston resident who was behind the wheel of a 2017 Dodge Durango. The driver struck a 2009 Honda Pilot operated by a 30-year-old New Paltz resident on Washington Ave. before leaving the road, traveling between a utility pole and crosswalk signal pole, through the sign for the CVS store on the corner and a rock wall, coming to rest at the barrier post just in front of the entrance to the store.
No-one was seriously injured. Investigation into the accident is continuing.
