Lover’s quarrel
Helen L. Travis, 34, and Kevin L. Travis, 38, both of Saugerties, were each charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, at 3:05 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 by Town of Saugerties Police. Officers responded to Apt. 4, 1910 Route 32 following a 911 report of a violent domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that during the dispute both Heather Travis and Kevin L. Travis violated orders of protection issued by the Town of Saugerties Court that each had against the other. Both Heather and Kevin L. Travis were issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Town of Saugerties Court. New York State Police assisted at the scene.
Assault
Bruce Lydecker, 56, of Saugerties was charged by New York State Police with third-degree assault, a Class A misdemeanor at 10:20 a.m. on Nov. 20. He was held by police. Bail information was not available.
Rowdy behavior while holding
Willie C. North, 27, of 1914 Route 32, Saugerties, was arrested at 127 North Front St. at about 4:03 a.m. Sunday, according to Kingston City Police. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana, violations, police said. Police say North was creating a disturbance on North Front Street. Police later found marijuana and ecstasy on his possession, police said.
