Of the three businesses that revitalized a section of Broadway in midtown Kingston — Ollie’s Slice Shop, Fletcher & Lu and Eliza — only two will be continuing on into the new year.
Old-world-style high-end micro-grocery Fletcher & Lu announced its closure recently, posting a notice thanking Kingston for two “wonderful” years in business.
Though its doors are now shut, items from the former charcuterie wonderland will still be available on the menu at the upscale Eliza Bistro next door. Other in-house products will remain for sale at Village Grocery, Rosie’s General, Adams Fairacre Farms and Accor Market, to name a few. Catering is still available.
