WSO will kick off their 2025-2026 season on Saturday with program that features a powerful trio of works: Liszt’s dramatic Les Préludes, Sibelius’ sweeping Symphony No. 2, and Hummel’s bright Trumpet Concerto in E-flat, spotlighting Bill Owens, longtime principal trumpet of the orchestra and associate principal with the West Point Band. At the podium is Mina Kim, known for her dynamic conducting and thoughtful interpretations, leading the ensemble into a new season of rich classical soundscapes.
