The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a case of criminal mischief involving a single-family home on Huguenot Street in the village of New Paltz. Authorities believe the incident occurred sometime between the evening of Oct. 5, at approximately 8:16 p.m. and the morning of Oct. 6, 2025, around 8:45 a.m.
Residents in the area, particularly those with exterior security cameras, are being asked to review any video recordings from that timeframe. Investigators are seeking any footage that may show suspicious activity or unusual behavior that could assist in the case.
