Emerson Resort and Spa Community Week celebrates Catskills culture

Community Week at Emerson is all about celebrating Catskills culture. On Sat. 11/2, Cynthia Nikitin reveals the mysteries behind the famous concrete totem poles in Boiceville. On Sun. 11/3, Elizabeth Andes presents a healthy aging workshop. Mon. 11/4 brings a gentle yoga class in the morning, with a fairy door workshop in the afternoon. On Thu. 11/7, residents of Ulster, Greene, Dutchess, and Delaware counties get 20% off at Emerson’s shops, spa and restaurant. On Fri. 11/8, the award-winning Kaatscast podcast will discuss local legend Peg Leg Bates. Sat. 11/9 features an autumn guided nature walk with ethnoecologist Justin Wexler, and Sun. 11/10 will bring live birds of prey to the property for a meet and greet.
