The Bearsville Theater is one of our area’s most legendary music venues. Built by the legendary Albert Grossman and recently restored by Lizzie Vann, the building has a storied past of nurturing the musical and artistic community in Woodstock. Music lovers will be excited to hear that Peter Shapiro of Dayglo Presents is working with a new team to restore the theater to its former glory and perhaps exceed it. Get a load of some of the bands they’ve already booked: Guster, Dawes, Guided By Voices, The Beths, The Dresden Dolls, The Mountain Goats and The Zombies, just to name a few.
