Four young men were killed in a one-vehicle accident in the Village of Saugerties and a young woman was airlifted to Albany Medical Center, according to police reports.

The accident happened at about 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26.

McSpirit was admitted to the ICU with a spinal injury and is listed in stable condition. The four additional occupants sustained fatal injuries in the crash and were declared deceased at the scene by the Ulster County Medical Examiner.
