Pamela Kathryn Twining, 72, of Hillcrest Ave. died Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Health Alliance Hospital, Mary’s Ave. Campus. Born November 27, 1950 in Silver Spring, MD., she was the daughter of the late Perry Ford Twining and Constance Cole Twining. An area resident since 1972, she attended Vassar College in Poughkeepsie. Pamela was New York State beat poet laureate 2022-2024. Survivors include three daughters: Morgan (Dean) Sasser of GA., Charlotte Nelson of Kingston and Raven Twining of Fla. A son, Erich Ploutz of West Hurley. Two brothers: Dana and Terry Twining and six grandchildren: Kane Twining, Colden Staccio, Shawn Quick, Pablo Villar-Nelson, Annabelle and Jasmine Ploutz. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Her Services are to be announced by the Seamon Wilsey Funeral Home Inc., Saugerties
