Woodstock, New York — Michael J. Heinrich, age 79, a long time resident of Woodstock, New York passed away at Mountainside Care Center, Margaretville, New York on Friday, October 12, 2018.
Michael was born on July 2, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Nathan and Rose (Kulkin) Heinrich.
He graduated from Bard College, where he received his BA degree. He operated an antique shop at Winchell’s Corner for several years and was a well known artist in the Woodstock and Mt. Tremper area.
Michael is survived by a son, Ari Lariffa Heinrich of San Diego, Ca, and 1 brother, Kenneth (Mary Jo) Heinrich of Boston, MA.
A celebration of his life will be held by his family and friends at the Artist Cemetery, Woodstock, New York on Saturday October 27, 2018 at 2:00pm.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville, New York.
