Mary Louise Schryver of West Shokan passed on April 22nd, 2019 after a short illness. She was the daughter of Harry Schryver and Arzula (Cashdollar) Schryver of Kingston; born December 7th, 1930 at “The Homestead” in Woodstock, which was owned by her grandmother, Sarah Cashdollar.
She leaves behind a sister Eileen Mosher of Doylestown, PA; daughter Linda Cox of Cowpens, SC; daughter Marjorie Formisano of Gardiner, NY; son James Hyde of West Shokan, NY; four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
“Louise” was retired from the Town of Olive Tax Assessor’s office. She enjoyed life every day, and most particularly her knitting. She called herself the “knit wit” and took great pleasure in creating beautiful items for family, friends, strangers, and many charitable organizations.
