Marilyn O’Sullivan

SAUGERTIES… Marilyn A. O’Sullivan, 68, of Spaulding Lane died Sunday, May 13, 2018 with her family present. Born November 28, 1949 in Saugerties, she was the daughter of the late Henry and ClaraBelle Burgher Brink.

A lifetime area resident, she was a member of the DAR Wiltwyck Chapter of Kingston, NY and the DAR of Desert Wells, AZ. She was a member of the VFW Auxillary Post #4781 of Ocala, Fla.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; Daughters: Tara O’Sullivan and Melissa and her husband Chris Jaeger; Sisters: Gloria Bollenbach of Shokan and Maureen Brink of Saugerties; Grandchildren: Nikolaus and Felicity; Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She fought a 27-year-long battle with breast cancer and, during that time, she never once faltered in the belief that she could beat it. A strong, encouraging, loving, adventurous and ultimately fun woman that the world will sorely miss.

Her Funeral Procession will form 12 Noon Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts. Thence to the Blue Mt. Cemetery where graveside services will be conducted. Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family @ SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
