PALENVILLE… Joyce M. Coulouris, 66, of Whispering Pine Lane passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, April 9, 2021, surrounded by her family. Born February 6, 1955 in Saugerties, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Carmella Salvatore. She owned and operated restaurants in Saugerties, Catskill, and Ravena with her husband. Joyce led a gentle, selfless life and was a friend to plants and animals.
Survivors include her husband Leo Coulouris, son George (Amy) Coulouris, two grandchildren Isaac and Elliot of Washington, DC, brother Anthony (Lynn) Salvatore of Saugerties, brother Joseph (Elizabeth) Salvatore of Mt. Marion, and sister Carolyn Salvatore of Saugerties. She was predeceased by her sister, Regina Marcucci.
Her funeral service was held privately at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. of Saugerties. Interment followed in the Blue Mtn. Cemetery, Saugerties. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Rosemary D. Gruner Memorial Cancer Fund.
