Jillen Lowe died peacefully February 13, 2020, age 89.
Jillen was a loving and supportive friend, a devoted mother, a talented writer and artist. She was intelligent, curious, humorous, philosophical and always interesting.
Over her long life Jillen worked in advertising, helped found and run Paley & Lowe Gallery in Soho, traveled, wrote fiction, poetry and nonfiction, made jewelry, exhibited her paintings and drawings, and enjoyed life.
Jillen is survived by her beloved children, Victoria Allen and Jamie Lowe, her brother and sister Richard and Susan Ahern, her son-in-law Gene Moz, and many dear friends.
Donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her name are appreciated.
