Robert “Bob” Kaiser, 84, of Melbourne Florida, died Monday, February 20, 2023.
Bob was born in 1938 in West New York, New Jersey to Pearl Kaiser and her husband Rudy. Bob moved to Woodstock NY in 1949 with his parents. He graduated from Onteora High School in 1957 where he played basketball.
Bob met the love of his life, Beverly Freligh and they were married in 1959. They remained in Woodstock NY with Bob starting a 45-year career at Rotron Inc. They raised a son, Robert Jr, and were faithful members of St John’s Catholic Church in West Hurley.
Bob retired from Rotron in 2004, and they moved to Florida with their cat Empress, to be near their son and grand kids. They joined Ascension Catholic Church, becoming regulars at the Saturday 4pm service.
Bob enjoyed socializing at the gym, keeping in touch via Facebook, going to family outings / functions, and watching Westerns.
He leaves his wife of 63 years, Beverly, a sister Lily, a son Robert, daughter-law Brenda, 3 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7th from 10:30 – 12:30 at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home, Melbourne FL (in the Eau Gallie Arts District.) This will be followed by Funeral Mass at Ascension Catholic Church, Melbourne FL at 1:00.
