Main Street | Rosendale

Rosendale Street Festival

This annual tradition has grown massive. With over 100 bands on eight stages and countless vendors and food options, it’s become a must-visit for tourists without losing its authenticity for locals. The community always comes together powerfully to make for a joyous atmosphere.

Summer’s all about fun and laughs, and this classic comedienne is making a rare local appearance hot on the heels of her much-lauded role in Apple’s hit TV series Severance. Will there be Cold Harbor jokes? Buy tickets to find out.

Ulster County Fairgrounds | New Paltz

Ulster County Fair

Cows, carnies, carousels and corndogs coalesce at this enduring tradition. Though it’s not as massive as its sister fair in Dutchess County, it’s still jam-packed with attractions, food, music, and family-friendly fun.

Tue. Aug. 19 – Sun. Aug. 24 • 10am

Dutchess County Fairgrounds | Rhinebeck

Dutchess County Fair

The biggest fair in the area is in Dutchess County, celebrating farming and agriculture with sprawling exhibition halls full of farm critters, plump produce, handmade crafts, and just about anything else you can imagine being displayed in an exhibition hall – plus more food, music, vendors, rides and attractions than you can possibly partake in.
