There are few local places more funky to hang than the Kingston Pop Museum, an eclectic and intimate art and music venue on Broadway. This Saturday, drop in for an opening reception centered around the museum’s assemblage of pop culture collectibles. See a complete collection of ultra-rare Beatles dolls, a rejection letter sent to Andy Warhol by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and four vintage Volkswagens painted with kaleidoscopic illustrations, to name just a few of the items on display. There will also be plenty of live music from SoulCake, Ramona Lane, Walter G. Steding, Mark Hawdon and an album release performance from Puma Perl and Joe Sztabnik.
