The Center for Photography at Woodstock will present their second annual Photo Book and Zine Fair this weekend, featuring a variety of photo books, zines, panel discussions from artists and publishers, featured exhibitors, an all ages build-your-own-zine zone, reading rooms, and more. Over two dozen local and visiting publishers will have books available for sale. Panels include “Navigating Challenges in Photo Book Creation: Insights from Artists and Publishers” and “Empowering Communities Through Independent Publishing: Uniting Artists, Publishers and Activists”, with discussions centering around self-publishing, book design, and the future of photo books and zines. The festival is curated by local book and zine artist and photographer Juan Madrid, The weekend begins with a kick off party at the new Unicorn Bar on Friday at 8:30pm. Attendance is free and open to all ages.
