The Miller auditorium has seen a major update as part of the Kingston City School District’s capital improvement project. With the renovation, new curtains were installed, floor light tracks were added, new carpets were put down and the seating was replaced.
“It looks great,” said Superintendent Paul Padalino. “It’s really phenomenal.”
Throughout the other buildings, other capital improvement project work is underway. In John F. Kennedy Elementary School, the elevator lobby is having finishing touches with heating modification and terrazzo base to be installed this month.
In Kingston High School, the music wing is being updated with work to the walls, including acoustical wall panel and metal wall panel installation. These changes are planned to be completed by the end of spring.
