The Saugerties Lions Club has named Johanna Weeks the winner of the Joseph Bosco Jr. Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is for $1000 per year for four years. Weeks will be attending SUNY Plattsburgh in the fall, with a major in secondary education.
Each year the Lions Club awards a scholarship in the name of Joseph Bosco Jr., to a graduating Saugerties High School senior. Bosco was a Lions Club member for many years and an outstanding citizen of the Saugerties community.
