Big stories come in small reels at the first-ever Pine Plains Festival of Shorts, a hometown celebration of short films and local talent at the Stissing Center for Arts & Culture. This two-night, non-competitive event features documentaries, animations, comedies, and dramas by filmmakers from Pine Plains and the Hudson Valley, with post-screening Q&As adding a personal touch. Proceeds will help upgrade the venue with professional film equipment, nodding to its past as the beloved Plains Theater.
