Ulster County is now accepting applications for funding to support youth-focused programs during the 2025–2026 program year. The initiative, administered through the Ulster County Youth Bureau, is aimed at expanding access to recreational, educational, and developmental opportunities for children and teenagers across the region.
The available funding falls under three categories, each targeting a different aspect of youth engagement: general youth development programs, sports education opportunities, and team sports activities. The grants are intended for organizations that provide free services to youth, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent participation.
Organizations interested in applying must submit their proposals by October 3, 2025. Eligible applicants include nonprofits and other entities involved in delivering youth services in the county. The county emphasized that proposed programs must be accessible to young people at no cost and should align with broader goals of youth enrichment and community involvement.
