A former custodian at J. Watson Bailey Middle School in Kingston has been arrested again on felony charges connected to child sexual exploitation materials.
New York State Police at Ulster took 23-year-old Alan Depace into custody on Wednesday, Sep. 17. He is now charged with two felony counts of promoting obscene sexual performances involving minors younger than 17.
This arrest follows an earlier case from April, when Depace was charged with unlawful surveillance and possession of child sexual abuse material involving a child under 16. Investigators previously alleged that a hidden recording device had been used for sexual purposes. Though the exact location of this device was not disclosed, school officials have said the previous charges stemmed from incidents that did not occur on school grounds.
