A Modena resident was injured after crashing his motorcycle into a mailbox and a vehicle in the Plattekill/Wallkill region on Sunday, August 10, state police say.
At approximately 4pm, Raurey A. Boeckmann, 22, lost control of his 1998 Harley Davidson while traveling north on Plattekill Ardonia Road. After careening into a mailbox, he rear-ended a parked 2010 Ford, model unspecified. After emergency personnel responded, he was taken to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie for non-life-threatening injuries.
