Overlook Bicycles, a longtime Hudson Valley cycling staple, has opened the doors to its new full-service location at 79 Hurley Avenue in Kingston. The grand opening took place on Friday, July 18.
Overlook Bicycles began in Woodstock in 1988, and has grown into a three-location operation. The new Kingston shop offers bike sales, repairs, fittings, and rentals, all in a larger, more accessible space that allows the team to better serve a growing base of local cyclists. The move comes as Overlook temporarily closes its Woodstock storefront for renovations, with plans to reopen that location in the future.
Overlook continues to operate a rental-only shop in Shokan, situated at the eastern end of the Ashokan Rail Trail. Their original Woodstock location has been closed since February for renovations.
