Last night, congressman Pat Ryan competed in his second congressional baseball game for charity. Ryan wore a Hudson Valley Renegades cap and West Point Army baseball jersey sporting the number “18” as he represented NY-18 at Nationals Park.
“I don’t think it’s a big secret that I’m a die-hard Yankees fan, but playing on any major league field is a pretty surreal experience,” said Ryan. “I was so proud to be able to represent Hudson Valley pillars like the Renegades and, of course, my alma mater, West Point. Coming together like this is so important.”
The Republicans won.
