Route 9W was the site of a collision between a motorcycle and a school bus on Wednesday. No children were on the bus. Both vehicles were damaged. The motorcyclist reported experiencing back pain and was evaluated at the scene of the collision.
Police reported that the school bus driven by town of Ulster resident Darryl E. Griswold, 69 changed lanes unsafely, making impact with the motorcycle of Melanie Rogers, 43, also a resident of the town. Griswold was ticketed.
