The Saugerties Police Department has reported three recent arrests stemming from separate investigations into alleged offenses.
In the early hours of March 22, officers took 35-year-old Michael R. Yonta of Saugerties into custody following a complaint within the town. After an investigation, Yonta was charged with two misdemeanor counts related to driving while intoxicated, including having a blood alcohol concentration above 0.08%. He was processed at the police department and later released with an appearance ticket for a future court date. The Diaz Ambulance and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office provided assistance at the scene.
The following day, on March 23 at approximately 12:50pm., authorities arrested Shannon E. Lasher, 26, also of Saugerties, in connection with a child endangerment investigation. Lasher was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and was processed before being released with an appearance ticket for a later hearing in the Town of Saugerties Justice Court.
Less than an hour prior, at around 12:09pm, police arrested 46-year-old Kristy L. DePasquale of Saugerties in relation to multiple criminal mischief cases. She faces several charges, including four counts of making graffiti, three counts of witness tampering, two counts of third-degree criminal mischief, and three counts of trespassing. After being processed, DePasquale was released with an appearance ticket for a future court session.
All three individuals are expected to appear before the Town of Saugerties Justice Court on their respective dates.
