The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office recently reported on several arrests they made March, involving charges ranging from driving while intoxicated to serious felonies.
In January, deputies discovered Edward McFarland, 39, of Ulster Park, allegedly failed to register multiple social media accounts as a level 2 sex offender and filed false documents. On March 11, he was arrested in Ellenville and charged with multiple felonies. He was remanded to Ulster County Jail without bail.
On March 14, deputies responded to a domestic incident in Esopus. A 23-year-old Connelly man was charged with burglary, criminal contempt, and other offenses after allegedly assaulting a woman and confining her in the presence of two children, despite an active order of protection. He was released on his own recognizance.
In separate incidents in Lloyd, a 31-year-old New Windsor woman and a 24-year-old Brewster man were arrested on March 15 and March 6, respectively, both charged with misdemeanor DWI and released with appearance tickets.
Also on March 15, a 29-year-old East Fishkill man was charged with multiple felonies after allegedly driving intoxicated with a suspended license, circumventing an interlock device, and possessing crack cocaine. He was released with an appearance ticket.
Lastly, on March 16, a 40-year-old Kingston woman was charged with felony aggravated DWI, DWI, and drug possession after allegedly driving intoxicated with a child in the vehicle. She was also released with an appearance ticket.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
