Things are heating up at the 16th Annual Local Ingredient Chili Challenge, a fiery cook-off hosted by Water Street Market in honor of Marcy Fall. Local restaurants and home chefs will dish out their best chili recipes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with categories like People’s Choice, Best Vegetarian, Best Professional, Best Home Chef, and Most Creative up for grabs. New this year is a Blind Taste Champion, decided through a sight-unseen tasting. Sample the goods for $2 per taste or $20 for 12. Proceeds support St. Joseph’s food pantry.
