Event space and training facility opening in long-vacant Town of Ulster building

Longtime locals remember the building at 1099 Ulster Ave. as Brice Discount Beverages, a favorite for grabbing cases or kegs of beer. After closing over a decade ago, the entire structure was renovated with modern style, but sat vacant for many years… until now.

Passersby will see signage for 1099 Collective, a new company catering to corporate and professional events, workshops, and other business-oriented get-togethers.

The event space features “advanced audiovisuals, customizable seating, 4,000 square feet, and high-speed internet,” among other amenities. The training room boasts 1,500 square feet, with AV equipment included.

No opening date has been announced, and as of this writing, 1099 Collective is not yet accepting bookings.
