Mozart and more are on the menu as the Woodstock Symphony Orchestra returns to the Woodstock Playhouse for a program titled “New Horizons”. Under the baton of Conductor and Music Director Mina Kim, the evening features Mozart’s “Sinfonia Concertante for Four Winds,” featuring playful interplay between the oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and French horn. Also on the program are Jessie Montgomery’s dynamic “Starburst for String Orchestra” and Schumann’s richly romantic “Symphony No. 3 (Rhenish)”, which was to be his final symphony. The WSO can often sell out these Playhouse performances, so head to woodstocksymphony.org to get your tickets soon.
