Saugerties police have arrested resident Marcus J. Wilson, 25, twice in the span of just three months.
He was initially investigated following a disturbance on Oct. 21, 2024, for which he received charges including Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd degree (a misdemeanor) and Harassment (a violation). He was processed and arraigned in court.
Then, on Jan. 6, 2025, Saugerties police say they responded to another disturbance involving Wilson, and after a subsequent investigation, arrested him again, this time on the felony charge of Criminal Contempt in the 1st degree, along with 3rd degree Attempted Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was processed and is awaiting arraignment.
Wilson’s Facebook page states that he is the father of two sons.
