At Rough Draft’s first literary event of 2025, local legend Adam Snyder will be reading from his new novel, Kingston 76, a pop lit mystery set in 1970s Kingston. Based loosely on Snyder’s own boyhood uptown, the novel’s hero gets himself a detective partner and sets out to solve a crime, or two. Snyder will be doing an in-conversation with Drew Broussard, and might even sing a few songs fromThis Town Will Get Its Due, his seminal ode to Kingston released a few years back. He’ll also be signing copies of his book. A weekly radio broadcast of Kingston 76 begins the following night on Radio Kingston, and will continue running each Wednesday evening at 11pm.
