Tastebuds are tingling in New Paltz at the announcement of a classy new restaurant coming to town. The Bossanova Brazillian Cuisine & Cafe at 5 Church Street in New Paltz promises to “seamlessly merge the bold, vibrant flavors of Brazilian cuisine with refined American culinary artistry, creating a sophisticated and memorable experience” on their website.
According to their Google business listing, the restaurant will open January 4, 2025 and will include options for dining in, curbside pickup, and no-contact delivery. Vegan options will be available.
The Bossanova is going for an “elegant, inviting setting” where “every dish is thoughtfully crafted with the finest ingredients, offering a contemporary twist on traditional flavors.”
The restaurant will occupy the building that recently housed Indian restaurant Krishna Kitchen before it closed in October 2024. The formerly bright blue exterior has been repainted in white and gray with splashes of green.
