The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office received three gifts just in time for the busy holiday law enforcement season, as Sheriff Juan Figueroa welcomed Deputy Feliciano-Sanchez, Deputy Newkirk and Deputy Berryann to the force.
Fresh out of their police academy graduation ceremony held at The Chateau in Kingston on Wednesday, Dec. 11, the three new officers were lauded as dedicated and determined after they successfully completed a curriculum including foundations of law, firearms proficiency, emergency vehicle operations, community relations, physical fitness and scenario-based training.
