Sunday’s got soul in Woodstock this Sunday as the Marc Black Band returns to Colony for their annual Thanksgiving show. Known for playing a mix of psychedelic funk and roots rock, the band features a stellar lineup of Woodstock musicians, including Mike Esposito on bass, Don Davis on sax, Pete Levin on keys, and Eric Parker on drums. Special guest Ralph Legnini and the promise of surprise appearances add even more magic to the night. With a résumé that includes collaborations with legends like Paul Simon, Joe Cocker, and James Brown, this band is a local treasure. Marc Black’s deep ties to the Woodstock community—crowned by his ‘Key to the Town’ honor—make this hometown show a feast for the ears and soul.
