Bistro-to-Go hosts launch party for Feel Good Food

Well-known Woodstock couple Richard and Mary Anne Erickson recently confirmed with HV1 they have completed the sale of their beloved gourmet takeout, café and catering business Bistro-To-Go. The search for a new owner of the Rt. 28 stalwart began in 2022 when the couple announced their planned retirement and sale of the business.

Though information on the new owners was not yet available, the plan is reportedly to maintain much of the same menu, staff and general approach.

Bistro-To-Go has been a local institution for decades and has a reputation for gorgeous, delicious gourmet dishes. Their tagline of “slow cooked fast food” rang harmonious with the palates of countless locals and visitors. The Ericksons shared their recipes in a cookbook titled Feel Good Food, which the New York Times called “A solid collection of reliable recipes closely tied to the Hudson Valley agricultural region.”
