Hurley was buzzing with much activity when Hurley Heritage Day returned for the first time in five years on Saturday, September 21, along Schoolhouse Lane between the Hurley Heritage Museum and the Hurley Library.
There were tours of the stone houses and village walking tours, performances, a harvest market, live bands including Jay Unger and Molly Mason, a Native-American equinox ceremony, antiques and crafts booths, historical demonstrations, woodworking, children’s activities, food trucks and more.
The Hurley Heritage Society is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. On December 6 a very special evening of holiday music and dinner theatre will be held at The Chateau in Kingston. For more information, please call (845) 338-1661.
