Mainetti and Mainetti’s uptown car show returned for its fourth year under beautiful blue skies on Saturday, September 14. With the addition of Green Street this year, the show cars lined up from the top of North Front, Wall, John and Crown streets. Cars were also displayed in the Mainetti and Mainetti law firm’s parking lot.
There were 14 award categories, each with their own custom, handmade trophy created by Catskill Mountain Customs. Raffle tickets were also sold for prizes, including a detailing job at 3C Detailing and a new e-bike.
Attendees enjoyed the live music stage on the corner of Wall and North Front streets, sponsored by Pugsley’s Barber Shop.
All proceeds raised by the car show are going to the family of two-year-old Jaxon McDonald who has been fighting for his life after undergoing aggressive chemotherapy, multiple surgeries and a bone-marrow transplant. The funds will go towards travel expenses for Jaxon’s parents to visit him, medical expenses that are not covered and supporting his family.
