Once again, it’s time to hoot. Ashokan Center’s Summer Hoot encapsulates Catskills culture in a way no other event can, featuring an eclectic mix of live music, nature activities, and family fun. Friday evening performances include music from folk legends Jay Ungar & Molly Mason, New Orleans jazz by Tuba Skinny, soulful tunes from Naiika Sings, and Zydeco rhythms by Jeffery Broussard & the Creole Cowboys. Saturday and Sunday are packed with a lot more live music, including indie folk ambassadors The Mammals, a bonfire singalong, and a grand finale not to be missed. Enjoy workshops, guided hikes, kid-friendly activities, and intimate Pewter Shop Sessions throughout the weekend.
