Accomplished local artist and writer Dakota Lane is bringing free creative workshops to the city of Kingston throughout the summer. This Sunday, 8/18, 2pm at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center, transform the challenges in your life into literary expressions, bright collage flowers and a flock of birds (representing freedom) in a workshop focused on catharsis. On Sunday, 8/18, 10am at Rough Draft, a personal butterfly workshop will celebrate transformation. Also at Rough Draft, cross-pollinate with other poets and artists with an evening of fantasy writing and drawing at 6pm on Tuesday, 6/20.
