Widow Jane Mine is a uniquely splendorous performance venue, made even more special by the carefully curated choices made in booking talent. The mine platforms ambitious creative locals with artistic visions too expansive to be held in a traditional venue. Next in their summer schedule is Hudson Valley’s Krisha and the 209s. The band wears their hearts on their sleeves, playing soulful, groovy, organ-driven originals and covers. Krisha is a lifelong musician. “From the time I was little,” she writes, “[music] was my special happy place, and it’s never changed.”
