Mushroom-inspired book release party in Kingston this Tuesday

Calling all nature and mushroom-lovers! Local business owner and debut author Chris Baker will be co-hosting a book launch party with Canadian illustrator Alexandra Finkeldey for their new picture book On a Mushroom Day. Baker, the founder and proprietor of Chicory Naturalist, a nature-focused book and gift shop also at the Kingston Waterfront, will give a reading of the book, with signed copies available for purchase. The event will also feature complimentary mushroom snacks by chef and mycophile Anthony Sasso, a cash bar with proceeds to benefit the YMCA Farm Project in Kingston, and a photo booth.
