The Ulster County Tiffin Project is helping reduce single-use packaging one tiffin at a time. The UCRRA Recycling Outreach Team and Climate Smart Kingston will present the benefits of reuse as a way to prevent pollution at three locations throughout Ulster County this week. Learn about the waste-climate connection, the lifecycle of some common single use take-out containers, and why choosing to reuse is not only better for our planet but may also be better for our health. Attend an event and receive your own free stainless steel reusable food container. Events in Ulster County include 7/11 at the Kingston Library, 7/14 at the Phoenicia Farmers Market, and 7/16 at the Gardiner Library. Registration is required.
